Which motherboards can the NZXT H1 hold?
Like other Mini-ITX cases, the NZXT H1 has a compact design. You won’t be able to fill the largest PC components inside or work in custom water-cooled circuits with large radiators and water tanks. You have limited space and the only motherboard size available is Mini-ITX.
The Mini-ITX motherboard is essentially a smaller version of the microATX motherboard, which in turn is a smaller version of the ATX motherboard. You won’t lose any basic functions of the motherboard, but the supplier will not be able to install all the features on a smaller circuit board. You may have two SATA ports instead of eight, or one PCIe slot instead of four.
For H1, the motherboard size needs to be 170 x 170 mm. Any Mini-ITX motherboard on the market can be used, but you need to choose one based on the processor you plan to use. We provide two good examples here, one for AMD-powered systems and one for Intel.
