Watches using Wear OS are now faster

Hardware-assisted acceleration to Wear OS watches
Google had made an update to its software library for wearable technology . With this update, developers could turn on hardware-assisted acceleration to give users a smoother experience. On the GPU side, a more stable use is promised with the new feature for resolving errors.

This feature is only available for smart watches using Android 9 . The code required to request the hardware-assisted acceleration feature from the user was published by Google and supported with examples. The reason for adding this feature; canvas backgrounds are available for users . Backgrounds that show different parts as you slide the screen require more processing power.
