Warcraft 3 Reforged Custom Maps Blizzard appropriated

Even before the release of Reforged on the official forumBlizzard players noticed a change in the terms of the user agreement. Apparently, the company did not forget the story of the Defense of the Ancients card, which spawned Dota 2 and League of Legends, and decided to strike ahead.
The new agreement says that custom maps made in Warcraft 3: Reforged are transferred to Blizzard.
“Custom games are and shouldremain the inseparable and exclusive property of Blizzard. Without limiting the foregoing, you hereby assign to Blizzard all your full ownership rights and other rights, as well as shares in the ownership of all User Games, including, but not limited to, all copyrights to the content of all User Games ”
In addition, the agreement says that Blizzard itselfcan carry out any manipulations with the content of players. For example, if a company likes the new regime created inside Reforged, then Snowstorm can make a separate game out of it without any extra words. However, Blizzard reserves the right to cover the development of an autonomous version of the map by other players.
Gamers reacted to the new policy as expected.
