First, in May, US companies were banned from doing business with Huawei. Soon after, the U.S. Department of Commerce was granted a three-month temporary license to allow Huawei to continue supporting phones and network hardware.
Later, this license was extended for another 90 days in August and November. This year, it was decided to extend it for another 45 days in February.
