The battery is getting stronger: EMUI 9.1 is here for Huawei mate 9!
Huawei Mate 9 , released on November 3, 2016, was refreshed with the new EMUI 9.1 update . This software, called EMUI 184.108.40.206 , seems to revive the Mate 9 series.
What has Huawei Mate 9 gained thanks to the EMUI 9.1 update?
The support of the Chinese company with its new software, which was launched 4 years ago, pleased many Huawei users. Mate 9 series , EMUE 220.127.116.11 update is gained along with two new features: screen sharing and smart charging .
The screen sharing feature allows a user to show their screen to the person they are talking to during any video call. In addition , this version, which is 3.20 GB in size, also has built-in artificial intelligence.
This artificial intelligence, which learns the charging status of Mate 9 model, protects users from the danger of overcharging. As it is known, charging a phone continuously and excessively damages the battery of that phone and shortens its lifetime.
EMUI 9.1 begins to slow down the charging process gradually when it realizes that the charge rate is approaching 100 percent. Thus, the charging life of the Mate 9 device, which the users forget in the socket even though the charge is 100, does not decrease.
Let us mention that this feature should be activated by users. Because this system in EMUI 9.1 is not active by itself. Additionally , EMUI 18.104.22.168 , which also includes the May 2020 security patch, allows the battery to wear out more slowly.
