Previously, after having been hit by floods when Fortnite completed all platforms, it had to be opened for certain games. In the past 12 months, only 6 new games were able to use cross-platform features (Rocket League, PUBG, Dauntless, Paladins, Smite, Realm Royale)

Although Sony has not announced that the PlayStation 4 will support Crossplay for all games, it’s still quiet. That games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare can be played with friends on other platforms And there will be many more old games such as Disc Jam, EVE: Valkyrie, Final Fantasy XIV, Street Fighter V will begin to play online across platforms this month.

It seems like this is one of the changes after SONY announced a partnership with Microsoft to develop various online systems. It makes it possible to connect the platform to other systems, especially Microsoft’s Xbox / Windows 10.
