One of the most interesting details is the inclusion of a second ISP, the image signal processor, in the Wear 4100. In this way, dual camera support with a resolution of 16 Megapixels can be offered. There is currently no camera-equipped product in the smartwatch market.
Although there has been a transition to Bluetooth 5.0 technology, there is no improvement in the internet connection. The LTE Cat.4 modem is still used, offering 150 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload speed. Of course, since we are talking about a smart watch, we should not ignore the fact that these values are quite sufficient.
In addition, the QCC1110 that comes with the Wear 3100 platform includes a co-processor with a similar design. Various features will be observed by the coprocessor, from sleep tracking to heart rate monitoring. The difference of the Wear 4100 is that it does not have a coprocessor. It is stated that Wear 4100 will be used in products that do not require a co-processor. So, we will see the advanced model in the smart watches in the upper segment.
