For such tasks, you need larger monitors, like a laptop, desktop system or, in extreme cases, a tablet with a good diagonal.

You can buy a phablet with a large diagonal, but thiswill not solve the problem dramatically, so manufacturers offer other options, in particular, portable displays for connecting smartphones to them. LG, as well as Samsung has almost ready-made solutions – devices of a new type – Cloud Tops. These devices are ordinary thin displays, but with the functions of a special dock. To which you can connect any smartphone. The space on the desktop of the smartphone is increasing, and you can solve problems that cannot be solved on a small display.
Of course, the idea itself is not innovative, alreadyten years ago, other companies proposed this, for example, Motorola showed a smartphone kit with a docking station similar to a regular laptop. Only instead of the iron filling of the laptop did the connected smartphone work. Then the device failed, but other companies took the idea from there, some even managed to raise money through crowdfunding and produce something like that all these years.
Korean Giants Cloud Tops Devicesdiffer from other products in that they offer only a large diagonal display, no keyboards and docking stations. That is, the displays are touch-sensitive and do not turn the smartphone into a computer, they simply expand the visual part of it, that is, the image output.
Insiders report that the device from Samsungwill be called Dexbook, which implies support for the software of the existing DeX. That is, the semblance of a desktop will definitely be there. You can even connect wireless input devices (keyboard, mouse). The device will receive a diagonal of 14 inches, a touch surface, an internal battery of 10,000 mAh. The display will weigh less than one kilogram.
The device from LG will also receive a diagonal14 inches, the display will weigh only 600 grams with a thickness of 9 millimeters. The battery here will be smaller – by 5000 mAh. Both displays will have a resolution of IPS-matrix Full HD, the launch of devices is scheduled for mid-current year. The cost of new products will be approximately 350 dollars.
But, in the light of recent events in the Middle Kingdom, the launch of Korean Cloud Tops can be moved to a later time.
