Phoenix Point: Cthulhu update will revise key game elements

In the Phoenix Point newsletter, Snapshot Games revealed that the Cthulhu update will be released in July 2020. It will revise numerous key game elements – such as the Oneiric Delirium Index (“Doomsday Clock” until the Pandorans win), the complete balancing of the levels of difficulty as well as the exploration and discovery system of the Phoenix base. The update will also incorporate Pandoran research and technology tree. The mutation system of the Pandorans will be revised accordingly.

In August, DLC # 2 “Legacy of the Ancients”, which is actually planned for April, will be released. “Discover an ancient human civilization that has to face its own mutated threat and use its resources and experience to serve the Phoenix project. New units, mission types, research opportunities, maps, weapons, armor and a brutal challenge.”
