Nvidia Ampere: Render image of a suspected RTX 3080 Ti published on Reddit
Once again, a diligent Reddit user has created a render image of a fictional RTX 3080 Ti. Of course, the real card design may differ from this design, but until Nvidia comes around the corner with official information, potential buyers will have to be satisfied with such pictures.
Since the beginning of June, the first supposedly real images related to the cooling concept of a Geforce RTX 3080 have appeared on the Internet, they have appeared more and more frequently: the render images. Based on the previously known information and various leaks, complex 3D models of the upcoming Ampere graphics cards are created so that fans who are hungry for information can get a first impression of the (suspected) innovations in card design.
New render image of the putative RTX 3080 Ti
Reddit user CaddDood’s latest creation is not about the normal RTX 3080, but about the even more powerful Ti variant. So far, there have also been some speculations and smaller information leaks, which apparently was enough for the creator to create. Unsurprisingly, like most render images of the ampere generation, his work is also based on the photos of the new cooling devices that have been made public ( see linked original news from early June ).
So far, unfortunately, you can only examine the top of the render from diagonally in front. However, the creator says in a comment on the record that he will be working on a comprehensive addition over the weekend so that the map can be viewed from all directions and perspectives. He uses the Solidworks software to model the card, then imports the model into Cinema 4D and then renders the final result with Redshift.
