Google continues to invest in smart and wearable products . The company recently bought Focals smart glasses manufacturer North. Even though Google does not laugh at the point of smart glasses , Google has not achieved its success in the search engine side in wearable technology, but it is still not behind trying different ways.

Google announced today that it acquired glasses company North, which was the start for smart and wearable hardware in 2012 . Unfortunately, the company, which started with a powerful technology, could not catch the momentum it wanted. Nevertheless, the company purchased by Google will continue to work in the Canadian office of the tech giant smart glasses from Google.

Although detailed information about the purchase has not been revealed yet, it is estimated that new products will be developed in the future smart glasses from Google.

Google cites the acquisition of North as a “strong technological foundation”. The most important result of the mergers of companies is definitely the development of VR headsets and smart glasses on the Google side and it will become more functional smart glasses from Google.

Stating that there will be no new development in terms of Focals 2.0 smart glasses, the company still points out that there will be newly developed smart wearable products and it is enough to excite.
