New update for WhatsApp iOS is coming Features
WhatsApp recently launched dark mode on its Android and iOS-based apps. Now, weeks after the first update, work has started to improve and fine-tune this feature.
According to WABAppInfo, WhatsApp is working on new features for the iOS version of its app. The latest beta version of WhatsApp Messenger for iOS has a number of changes, including redesigned icons and sharing pod integration. WhatsApp also made bug fixes for dark mode, which some iPhone SE and iPhone 8 users can’t enable. All features and enhancements added to this beta version of the app will be available in the next App Store update for WhatsApp.
Share pod integration
The latest beta version of WhatsApp supports the new sharing pod, which makes it easy to share files and media. This means that iPhone users can easily share media from other apps to WhatsApp contacts.
New icons and other improvements
WhatsApp has also redesigned some icons for the iOS version of the app and made the images bigger and recognizable. Changed icons include “Contact Information” and “Media, Links, and Documents”, “Save to Camera Roll” and “Encryption” and ” WhatsApp Web “, “Chats”, “Notifications”, “Data and Storage”.
Other changes added to the latest version of the iOS beta app include improvements to “Search History” and “Screen Lock”. WhatsApp also fixed some dark colors that were not properly applied in the previous update.
