Modern Combat 5 Update 28 NEWS – New Grenades and MUCH MORE, Update XXVIII

Modern Combat 5 Update 28:

About time. Earlier today, the MC5 team on Discord released news of the next update. They said:

” Update 28 is incubating! Stay tuned for more info on what’s about to hatch!”

Looks like this egg could mean anything. A Facebook user noted that it does look like an Easter Egg, so we might get some more fun toys/gifts to play with.

What could the egg be?

A new class!

I highly doubt it. Given MC5 is still balancing the Marauder based on feedback, a new class seems like too much.

More guns!

Possible. But honestly, where? All the classes so far have all the gun slots filled up, however, a possibility is an exotic weapon like the TONI.

New game mode!

Considering the Battle Royale mode is still being improved, I don’t think new game modes are on the way. It is a possibility, though.

Event!

Honestly, this is the most likely one, in my opinion. It might possibly be one of those events with ludicrous gifts (coughcoughCREDITScough), like the Prestige trial event last year or the Instagib, to make up for the lack of daily login rewards.

New armor!

Highly likely. We’re yet to see the armor that won the art contest, so if that armor doesn’t come to this update, it’ll come in next update (Update XXIX).

New features!

I wouldn’t be surprised – there have been plenty of suggestions for gameplay improvement from the community over the past few months, so we could see Gameloft rolling some of those out.

Technical fix!

Obviously that’s gonna come next update, as there always has been, but honestly, I don’t think Gameloft will box that into an egg.

New map!

Possible. Interesting to see how this new map will look like.

Anti-cheat!

Yeah…..nope. You’ve got a lot to learn if you think anti-cheats work.
