10 Tips to DO NOT Make Money on Google Adsense
One day at one of the webinars on making money from contextual advertising, in a chat I saw the opinion, they say, “Google Adsense is very moody,” that is, sites from this program can fly out at any moment. In part, it may be true … BUT!
In 90% of cases, the owners of these sites violate the rules, which did not bother to read at the beginning. And sometimes greed just plays in one place, and blog authors try to outwit Google by rolling clicks, etc. I would like to ask these owners: “Guys, do you seriously consider yourself smarter than the global company Google with its capabilities and technologies?”
And if you are a decent author, quietly and not greedily leading your blog, then for you today I give 10 tips that will protect you from incorrect conscious actions or from accidental actions that threaten you with a departure from Google Adsense.
Tip # 1. Do not click on Google AdSense ads on your site under any circumstances.
This is the shortest path to the ban, that is, your site will be excluded from Google Adsense and you will not be able to earn more there.
Tip # 2. Do not wind attendance in any way
This is very easily calculated by Google, from where there were visits to your site. Therefore, if, for example, you go to the site of some clickers and give tasks to go to your site and click on the ads, then expect trouble, namely, a ban on your site.
Tip # 3. Do not place other types of dubious ads on your site with Google AdSense
For example, something with a hint of the theme “for adults.” Also, make sure that other ads don’t look like AdSense blocks. Otherwise, again, ban your site .
Tip # 4. Don’t overdo the number of Google AdSense ad units
By policy, you cannot place more than three AdSense ad units on one page. Know the measure, from a large amount of advertising the site will simply turn into a Christmas tree and will annoy visitors and Google.
Tip # 5. Do not overload the site with graphic and multimedia advertising.
The ideal ratio of text contextual advertising to multimedia / graphics is 90% to 10%. As I always like to say – everything is good in moderation.
Tip # 6. Do not place various arrows or text on the site that will force visitors to click on ads
In no case do not ask anyone to click, do not even give any hints. This is very strictly monitored by the system. Therefore, if you have at least some hint they will see that you are encouraging people to click on the ads, then your site will be safely excluded from Google Adsense.
Tip # 7. Do not try to change something in the source code of the advertisement
In what form you received it, insert it in this way so that everything works correctly and does not cause penalties for your blog.
Tip # 8. Do not place advertisements in pop-ups, error pages, or blank web pages
Do not anger Google!
Tip # 9. No need to create a blog just to advertise Google AdSense
The effect of this will not be big! Always remember: you blog for people and help them. Earnings – this is important, but secondary. Do not forget about it.
Tip # 10. Do not place ads near images
This has recently been prohibited by Google AdSense policies. Therefore, when placing ad units, make sure that the visitor does not accept the ad as a signature on the image, etc.
These are important tips, as failure to follow them will result in a ban on your site or, at the very least, a sharp decrease in advertising revenue.
