LG Velvet 4G launches in Europe with Snapdragon 845 processor
In early May, LG unveiled a new smartphone with an updated design and name – LG Velvet. And now
Sales of 4G version start in Europe.
What is the difference?
Initially, the LG Velvet received a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor with 5G support. The new version has the Snapdragon 845 chip, which is already several years old, does not have 5G, 6 and 128 GB of memory (configurations with 8 GB of RAM, it seems, will not be), and instead of 25W charging, it uses 15W QuickCharge 3.0 fast charging.
Wireless charging remains at 9W, and the battery capacity remains unchanged (4300 mAh). The rest of the specs are the same as the original LG Velvet. LG Velvet 4G
How many?
Several stores promise to bring LG Velvet to Germany on July 31st. For the 4G version, they ask for € 500, for the 5G version – € 600. Also, pre-orders are open in Hungary. Here the preliminary cost of the smartphone is € 580, there is only a version with 4G, but there is no release date yet. Other European countries only seem to be using the 5G model. LG Velvet 4G
