Intel Core i9-10900K performance leaked

Preparing to introduce 10th generation Comet Lake processors, Intel continues its preparations for its mobile processors. Intel processors, which will go through 14 nm +++ production process, will exit with LGA 1200 socket motherboards. According to the latest leaks, the flagship of the series Intel Core excited with the i9-10900K performance.

AMD’s new processors are based on the Zen 3 architecture, which goes through a 7 nm + production process. On the other hand, Intel is planned to move to the 10 nm generation process in the next generation. According to the leaks, it should be noted that the company has already started producing 10 nm on server-class processors.

Competition in the processor market is increasing steadily. With the introduction of 3rd generation Ryzen processors, the market rate has turned in favor of AMD. One of the biggest reasons for this situation was that AMD started producing 7 nm. In addition, AMD’s preference for a more aggressive price approach led users to prefer Ryzen processors. Intel, who wants to take advantage of the competition, has lowered the prices, especially at lower levels.

Called the flagship, Intel Core i9-10900K showed up in performance tests. One of the highlights of the test is that the processor runs on a non- OEM Z490 motherboard. The new processors that come with the LGA 1200 socket do not use the same socket with the 8th and 9th generation processors. If you want to buy a 10th generation Intel processor, you have to replace your motherboard. The processor with high clock speeds also has high OC potential.

Intel Core i9-10900K is a processor with 10 cores / 20 threads and a total of 2 0 MB cache. The basic TDP value is 125W. With a 3.7 GHz base and 5.1 GHz turbo frequency speeds, the processor can reach 5.2 GHz in a single core and 4.9 GHz in all cores using Intel’s Turbo Boost Max 3.0 technology. In the test, Intel Core shows that i9-10900K gained 28940 points in the 3DMark Firestrike comparison. This test setup contains 2x 8GB DDR4 memory running at 3200MHz. The Ryzen 3900X, which includes the same setup, managed to score 30,415 points from this test.

10th generation processors, which will go through 14 nm +++ production, lag behind AMD as thermal performance. AMD, with a 7 nm + production process, is now far ahead in thermal solutions and power efficiency. Motherboard manufacturers have noted that the Z490 panels have been specially designed for higher power inputs specific to the Comet Lake-S series, and realize that the processors have exceeded the 300W barrier. Many motherboard manufacturers have said that ten cores exceed the 300W barrier at full load. In the case that the i9-9900K reaches 250W in this scenario, we can say that the 300W for 10-900K was not very surprising.

Pricing policies will determine the fate of the 10th generation Comet Lake-S processors. Intel’s new processors and Z490 motherboards will be released in April.
