IGN Summer Gaming Starts Postponed To June 10
At the end of May, IGN published the schedule of its Summer Gaming festival , which will become a kind of replacement for the E3 2020 . Initially, the event was supposed to begin on June 5, but earlier this week the start was postponed to June 8 IGN Summer Gaming Starts Postponed To June 10.
Now IGN decided to postpone the start of the Summer of Gaming even further – on June 10th. The publication notes that in this way they want to give their employees and viewers the opportunity to honor the funeral of George Floyd, a black man who was killed by police during his detention.
The death of George Floyd caused massive protests in the United States, which led to the postponement of many gaming events, including those organized by partners of Summer Gaming. The PC Gaming Show and the start of the Guerrilla Collective were postponed to June 13, EA Play to June 19, and the presentation of Cyberpunk 2077 to June 25 IGN Summer Gaming Starts Postponed To June 10.
