IGN Introduces Partial Replacement for E3 2020 Summer of Gaming Online Event
E3 is loved not only for high-profile announcements, but also for the feeling of a great holiday. Alas, this year the exhibition was canceled due to a pandemic , but IGN will try to partially regain the solemn feeling – the site presented the Summer of Gaming event , which promises everything the same as E3, only online.
The event should start in early June. During live broadcasts, we will be shown the presentations of publishers, remote interviews with developers, gameplay demos and the like. Importantly, there will be up-to-date information on games for next-generation consoles.
Among the participants of Summer of Gaming 2K , Square Enix , SEGA , Bandai Namco , Amazon have already been confirmed, Google Stadia , Twitter , Devolver Digital, and THQ Nordic .
At the end of the year, next-generation consoles will appear – gamers want to learn more about what games they will play on their new consoles. Our online event will be a key opportunity for publishers and developers to reach audiences around the world.
In addition, IGN is going to arrange a small interactivity – for example, viewers will be invited to send their video reactions and vote for the best announcements.
