Huawei CEO gave the good news for HarmonyOS
Huawei has not been able to take full advantage of the Android operating system since the US embargo since May. While Google apps cannot be featured on their new smartphones, it has long been known to work on an alternative operating system, HarmonyOS, or HongMengOS.
Many different claims have been made so far. Wang Chengdu, head of Huawei’s consumer business software department, said in December that the company will continue on its way with the Android operating system.

Speaking at the 50th World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Huawei CEO put an end to this. Stating that the operating system is currently active and continues to be developed, Ren Zhengfei stated that it will be used in Huawei phones, tablets and TVs in the future.
The company, which has been working hard to develop HMS – Huawei Mobile Services, does not give any date on the new operating system. So, it is not expected to be used in the Huawei P40 series, which will be introduced in March.
