Galaxy Note 20 processor appeared in codes
Samsung takes a different path to the processors of flagship smartphones. Will the Galaxy Note 20 processor be Snapdragon 865?
One month after Samsung launched the Galaxy S20 series , it released the core source code for the versions of the new flagship models supported by both Snapdragon and Exynos. XDA reviewed this code and found the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Fold 2 references powered by Snapdragon 865 . It was also discovered in the code that he mentioned an unknown device called the Zodiac Project.
Considering that Snapdragon 865 is used everywhere except Europe for the Galaxy S20 series, it may make sense for the Galaxy Note 20 to continue with this application. XDA detected the Kona code name in the core source code of these models . This is the code name of Snapdragon 865, which is produced with a 7 nm fabrication process.
The core source code reveals that the Galaxy Note 20 (top) and Galaxy Fold 2 (bottom) will use Snapdragon 865 We expect the Galaxy Fold 2 to fold inward, and a screen larger than 7.3 inches in the original model may appear. Also, Samsung is expected to use the same ultra-thin glass (UTG) used on the Galaxy Z Flip . This means that despite the manufacturer’s warnings, the Galaxy Fold will have a screen covered with peel-off protective film. This action forced Samsung to delay the launch of Galaxy Fold by five months while redesigning the product. XDA saw a secret code called ” Project Zodiac ” in the core source code of Galaxy Z Flip . The information disclosed in the code shows that the Zodiac Project will only be in China. Considering the similarity between the use of the letter “Z” in the Galaxy Z Flip and the “Project Zodiac”, another foldable phone in the style of Galaxy Z Flip may come.
