Facebook has always restricted users from sharing Torrent-related websites, but The Pirate Bay is not included in the list, and the restrictions are implemented in the near future. Torrent technology itself is not illegal.
People use technology to share files, but many users share content such as pirated TV movies, so Facebook has to cut with The Pirate Bay. The relationship between the two appeared as early as 10 years ago when Facebook asked the other party to remove the “Share” button from the site.
The Pirate Bay refused to ask, and Facebook blocked all Torrent file links to The Pirate Bay, but the ban was lifted. This time Facebook is a big hit, not just blocking the Torrent files, but all the links to The Pirate Bay website.
Although the Torrent technology is not as popular as it used to be, the video services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime and HBO Now have given Torrent a resurgence. Some analysts say that this is why Facebook has blocked The Pirate Bay.Facebook Blocks Facebook Blocks V Facebook Blocks Facebook Blocks Facebook Blocks Facebook Blocks Facebook Blocks Facebook Blocks Facebook Blocks Facebook Blocks Facebook Blocks
