Heavy! Huawei pushes emui 10 update to global P20 Pro and Mate10 phones
According to XDA news, Huawei has finally introduced the long-awaited Android 10-based EMUI 10 update to P20 Pro and Mate 10, and the company has begun to promote the update worldwide. According to reports, users in Europe and Asia have received OTAs. This is consistent with Huawei’s EMUI 10 update plan. Both phones will start receiving stable EMUI 10 updates in mid-June.
The capacity of this update is quite large, Mate10’s update capacity is 4.39GB, P20 Pro ‘s update capacity is 4.59GB, so users are recommended to download the update via WiFi connection. In terms of functionality, the EMUI 10 update brings an improved UI and many new quick settings and notification panels, as well as new transition animations and more. Users will also receive all Android 10 specific changes, such as a system-level dark mode, a new navigation gesture system, as well as a new Digital Wellbeing tool with parental controls, strict location and privacy controls, and smart replies.
The EMUI 10 update has begun to be rolled out to Huawei Mate10 and P20 Pro users in multiple regions, and should gradually expand to more devices in the next few days. If you have not received an OTA notification, you can use the Huawei firmware finder tool to obtain the complete OTA and manually load it onto the device.
Mate10 is Huawei’s flagship smartphone , which was launched as early as 2017. The phone is equipped with Kirin 970 SoC and 5.9-inch HDR LCD screen, dual cameras and 4000mAh battery. Huawei P20 Pro was launched in March 2018, equipped with Kirin 970 eight-core SoC and 6.1-inch display, three cameras and 4000mAh battery.
