EMUI 10.0.0.178 brings external display support to Huawei Honor 10
Huawei is gradually introducing the latest flagship devices into previous-generation smartphones. Among them – support for external displays, intelligent charging mode and much more. P20 and Mate 10 series smartphones got new features last month. Now the turn has reached Honor 10, which received the EMUI 10.0.0.178 update.
The set of new features is similar to what the owners of Huawei P20 and Mate 20 received, including the April security patch. However, Honor 10 received a different build number. Among the new features that smartphone owners have received are the ability to mirror the display, simple file transfer between the smartphone and supported Huawei laptops, the ability to broadcast the screen during a video call, and support for intelligent charging, designed to extend the battery life of the smartphone.
The latest update for Honor 10 weighs 854 MB and is currently available only to owners of the Chinese version of the smartphone. When users from other regions will receive the new firmware is still unknown.
