CES 2020 Dell Unveils Concept UFO Nintendo Switch Form Factor Portable Gaming PC
Dell decided not to miss CES 2020 by coming to the exhibition with a prototype of a portable gaming computer.

Concept UFO resembles a larger versionNintendo Switch. The device received a similar tablet form factor with detachable controllers on the sides. In addition, gamepads also connect with each other, creating one large controller. At the same time, unlike Switch, Concept UFO gamepads are connected to the screen with magnets.
Dell decided to be inspired not only by the caseNintendo consoles, but also an interface. Concept UFO runs on Windows 10, but instead of the standard workspace, it launches the Dell shell where games are displayed.

The company did not tell what is insidelaptop, but the device turned out to be more of the same Nintendo Switch. At a minimum, the Concept UFO received an 8-inch display to already affect the size.
According to Engadget, in portable mode F1Racing starts at 30 FPS. Those present were also given the opportunity to play World War Z, but in “dock mode”, where the image is displayed on the TV screen. Like the Switch, in this position the Concept UFO delivers more performance.
Of the main shortcomings, journalists highlight the buttons of controllers. The same “hammers” have too much pressure, and they are pressed tightly.
Nevertheless, this is only a prototype, and Dell has no plans to release UFOs on store shelves in the near future.
