Apple may release AirPower wireless charging later this year and cost 250 Dollar
After information appeared on the network that Apple had resumed work on AirPower’s wireless charging, insider John Prosser (Jon Prosser) has published a concept image and some details about the new product.
What is known
The device is codenamed C68 andwill get fewer coils with reduced overlap. In addition, according to an insider, the docking station will be equipped with a Lightning port on the right side and a special Apple A11 chip, which will be responsible for heat transfer. The appearance of the new items has not yet been approved, so that by the time of release it may change.
Here’s my concept of “C68”
Apple’s most current internal prototype. – Fewer coils, with less overlap
– A11 chip inside to manage heat
– Lightning cable on right side
(Though I’d expect that to change on the retail models) If they pull it off – expected Q4 2020 / Q1 2021 ~ $ 250

Price and when to wait
If everything goes well, then AirPower will be shown in the fourth quarter of this year or in the first quarter of 2021. The docking station will cost a lot – $ 250.
