Capcom Releases Important Remake Update Resident Evil 3 on the Xbox One X. In it, the developers managed to achieve almost stable 60 FPS, but for this they had to lower the resolution.
Previously, the Xbox One X rendered the picture in 4K (2160p), but now the resolution has decreased to 1620r. Exactly the same resolution used the version for the PlayStation 4 Pro since the release.
Performance test with a new patch
At the start on the Microsoft console, the game suffered from poor performance: Resident Evil 3 could lower the frame rate to 34 in cutscenes, when the PS4 Pro dropped to 46 frames in the most difficult scenes.
Players are now asking Capcom to add the ability to choose a resolution. Some gamers noted that they liked the picture with 4K more, despite significant performance problems.
The Xbox One X version numbered 1.0.0.5 renders in the resolution of 2880 × 1620, and the Xbox One X version numbered 1.0.0.4 renders at 3840 × 2160. Both versions use chess rendering to achieve stated results.
